Fresh water springs running over the Pictured Rocks cliffs are blown back up by the strong winds and frozen to the small trees clinging to the edge of the 200' drop off.

Michael and Lee Beek are full time residents of Grand Marais Michigan. Both are graduates of Burt Township High School.
